Catechumen classes

"To be transformed into the likeness of God":  this is the goal of theological education and formation in the Orthodox Church. Currently, every Saturday, Rdr. Thomas leads inquirer classes after Vespers. The Mission's online calendar lists the times and subjects of these classes. These classes are primarily intended for inquirers, catechumens and anyone who simply wants to learn more about the Faith. The classes follow a set of books on the Orthodox faith by Fr. Thomas Hopko. These are not necessary for attendance, but are available in the church bookstore. Contact Rdr. Thomas (Kevin) for more information.

Tuesday Night Fellowship

Tuesday Night Fellowship currently meets at the Burt's home near the Mission.  A meal is shared at 6 PM, followed by a study of the Orthodox Faith at 7 PM.  The meal and study are open to anyone interested.  Contact Rdr Thomas (Kevin) for more information.
Sunday school

Classes are held every Sunday morning at 9:20 AM for two age groups in the fellowship area. The classes end at 9:50, or ten minutes prior to the start of Divine Liturgy.

Elementary- classes and activities for all ages up to 5th grade. Children participate in activities and lesson relating to the Gospel reading or feast of the day.

Middle/High- classes and activities for 5th to 12th grade. Students
participate in activities and lessons relating to the Gospel reading or feast of the day.

Adults- Currently adults are asked to participate in Sunday Orthros (see service times). This is the Church's "ancient Sunday school," filled with hymns, prayers and readings which shape the hearer according to the mind of the Church.  Feel free to keep you children with you in this service if you wish.
